Key findingWhich brand does AI recommend most often to parents saving for their children?
Slovenská sporiteľňa. It appeared in 50% of answers; the true value lies between 41 and 60%. Close behind are Finax (46%) and Portu (44%); the difference is within the measurement uncertainty.

Three conclusions

  1. 1Visibility is not stability. A brand can appear often but unreliably, and vice versa.
  2. 2Being among the sources is not enough. In 38% of cases AI drew on the brand website and still did not mention the brand in its answer.
  3. 3AI looks for people’s experiences in communities. Modrý koník is the only Slovak community platform among the main sources.

Who AI mentions most often

Visibility is the share of answers in which a brand appears. Across 1,296 answers, 177 different brands came up in total. At the top is a tight group of banks and investment platforms; the differences between the top five are within the measurement uncertainty.

How often and how reliably

Stability shows in how many of the eight runs of the same question a brand appeared. Higher visibility does not mean higher stability: in ChatGPT, Finax has lower visibility than Slovenská sporiteľňa, but appears more reliably.

Mention and citation

A mention is the brand name directly in the text of the answer. A citation is a link in the list of sources. For a brand, the mention matters more; only a fraction of people click on citations.

59%of people plan to visit the brand website after a mention1
25.1%of mentions occur without a citation2
~1%of visitors click on a citation3
61.7%of citations are “silent”: the brand does not appear in the answer2

In this AI Pulse study, in 38% of cases AI drew on the brand website and still did not mention the brand in its answer.

Methodology

We did not make up the questions. They come from more than a million discussions and 20 million comments on the Slovak edition of Modrý koník: we extracted parents’ real questions, semantically matched them with the category description and removed brand names from them.

  • 54 questions × 3 tools × 8 runs = 1,296 evaluated answers
  • ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Mode, anonymously and without logging in
  • eight runs per question, because AI answers slightly differently each time4
  • the measurement took place in August 2026
